Kyo is responsible for the overall direction and management of Leftright. Prior to founding Leftright in 2013, Kyo was Microsoft Asia CIO responsible for the regional IT strategy and execution for Japan, APAC, India and Greater China Region. He has also served as GM of IT Application and Architecture at Microsoft subsidiaries worldwide, and Executive Officer responsible for Microsoft Japan’s Corporate Strategy and Developer Business. Prior to joining Microsoft, Kyo spent 13 years in San Francisco, California, holding various leadership positions at start-ups and multi-nationals including MetaTV, Computer Associates, Sterling Software and Synon, to run R&D and software product development at. Kyo is licensed as a patent and trademark attorney in Japan and holds BS in Engineering from Hokkaido University.
